Native Garden Planning Tool is Live!

Hello everybody! You are receiving this email because way back in September, I posted a video of a tool I was working on to a Reddit channel, and to my surprise and delight, almost 500 people signed up for the waitlist.

Well, it took longer than I anticipated (as things always do), but the Beta version of Native Garden Planner is now live! It contains all the features initially promised:

• Comprehensive Plant Catalog: Browse plants native to your zone and region.

• Accurate, To-Scale Garden Planning: Design your garden with precision.

• Preview Mode: Visualize how selected plants will look together.

• Auto-Placement Algorithm: Automatically arrange plants (best keep expectations low on that one).

Additionally, I’ve added a ‘Request Feature’ page. My hope is that collectively, we can work to make this a tool that provides real value to the native plant gardening community. To that end, I want to hear from you about what you think is important — share your reactions to upcoming features and add your own ideas too!

It took a lot of work to get to this point here, but right now I just want to thank all of you for the overwhelming response I got from the original post. You all were so enthusiastic, and so supportive, it really gave me the fuel I needed to build what turned out to be a pretty big side project (see more on that on my About page)
